It clearly got lost, climbing up on the inner side of the mosquito net. We had an exciting time while putting it back to its place – for the relatives of the Komodo dragon it is more spacious out there.
It is one of the rare occasions when when the actual shot turned out better than what I had in my head. The settings were adjusted hastily as it was climbing quite fast and we didn’t want to wait till it finds a hiding place. I’ve darkened the sky a bit while post-processing the image, but otherwise I didn’t feel the urge to tweak it. I’m happy with the tiny, curvy silhouette against the peaceful, blurry background.
