It is a gem for me. A treasure I found in Chester. That’s what antiques are for me – life on pause, something that’s a bit odd, not up to date and certainly out of place, but still… it catches your eye, it makes you stop and look with respect while life is going by.
I had no tripod on me (as usual), so I pulled the steady hands trick (weird looking position I’ve learnt when I was learning to shoot a rifle), lengthened the shutter speed and pressed the “trigger” hoping for the street traffic to sort itself out and give me a clear view of the old man in the wheelchair. I had a limited amount of time, but I’m happy with the result; the Old steady as it can be, the Young rushing by, but still admiring it.
