The light at the end…
It was a beautiful church. We got there early in the morning, the priest opened all doors and windows right before we stepped in. The church is dedicated to St Raphael and you can hear the waves of the sea as you marvel at the cartoons on the walls. Icons I mean. I took this one to be able to share via mobile while being on holiday, but I should have a less burnt out version once I get to go through the raw files at home.

Taken with my mobile. Probably that’s the first “improper” pic on this blog, but who cares? I was standing there cameraless and what I saw was so stunning that I had to snap share it.
In the spotlight.
One of those moments, when you look up, take your camera out, randomly adjust the settings and shoot. And you immediately know, that you don’t have to take another shot; this will do. A moment like that can make my whole day. Sometimes. 
Dotty sunrise.
The different shades of the clouds, the patches on the sky and the dots on the water, that calming blue and the smell of the sea with the humming of the ferry we were sitting on… You know the feeling when the least expected, most random scenes stay with you for a very long time? I love capturing moments like that.
Awakening.
Right before the sun poked its shiny face out from behind the hills. On the left, yes. That was the first reward for getting up a bit after 5am to catch the first ferry to the island of Krk.
